INDIANA TO ZIMBABWE
A group of upper elementary students from an Engaged School wrote letters to a Partner School in Zimbabwe. After FTH staff delivered letters, colored pencils and soccer balls to the students in Zimbabwe, the Partner School students wrote back!

PROJECT BASED STUDY
A year-long, project-based study of Africa by a group of 4th graders culminated in a Skype call with the Feed the Hungry Director in Malawi. The students created replicas of Malawian houses and art for their School-wide PBL Open House. They had a local pizza shop donate pizza that they raffled off and ended up raising enough to purchase a chicken coop, two chickens and rooster for a young boy in Malawi (Levison – featured in the Malawi Project Video).
GROWING UP IN CHINA
Feed the Hungry staff member, Laura Baughman, is pictured with 3rd-5th grade students after she presented about her time growing up in China. The students learned about some of the countries served but Feed the Hungry, heard what it was like to live in a foreign city growing up and created a Chinese lantern craft. These school children are partnered with schools in Honduras and Nicaragua, supporting those kids with hot, nutritious food, playground equipment, and school supplies.
